Officials - League officials are paid the following: $ 35.00 (Assistant Referee) and $ 55.00 (Referee) with a $10 travel fee to go to Lake Country or West Kelowna (if the referee does not reside in those communities).

BC Soccer has implemented a new requirement that all carded team Officials (coaches) need a Criminal Record Check done in order for the youth players to be able to play on the teams.  This was a new requirement this past season, so will be implemented fully in the next season (2012).

Reporting - All Game reports with any caution and/or ejection reports must be faxed to the Registrar immediately following the game and together with any player ID card held, must be turned in to I-Sight Optometry within 24 hours. See Rules and Regulations - Reporting and Contact for more info.

Referee Payment - Referee and AR cheques are issued the following month after you officiate a game. Monthly payments are based on your game reports properly completed and submitted on time. If reports are not submitted on time, you can expect a delay in payment.

NEW FOR 2012: The cheques will be dropped off to EuroSport (Suite 3, 1771 Cooper Road, Kelowna, BC V1Y 7T1)  No Later than the 10th of the following month. Please ensure that the Referee Contact Information (including full name and mailing address) is current, and the Referee Scheduler / Referee in Chief has received this information. Cheques not ‘presented’ within 6 months become stale dated and will be voided.

Discrepancies - Discrepancies in pay of an official may be appealed by that official to the Referee Scheduler.

Reporting of Income - For tax purposes, officials are considered to be independent contractors.
